What does the time I book mean?

The time slot refers to your experience time. Please arrive at the Rathmore Christmas Kingdom at least 30 minutes before this time and arrive at The Elf station 20 minutes before this time. Because of the tight time schedule and the other families we cannot delay at all. As many slots sell out, it may not be possible to reschedule your experience  to later if you are late. You are welcome to arrive earlier than 30 minutes  if you wish, but no earlier than 10 am when we open. You can visit the Indoor Market at the Weekends.

Does the Christmas experience have an admission charge?

Yes. Prices vary depending on whether for adults or children. Please visit our prices page for more info.

Do I book ahead or pay on the day?

Tickets are available online, we strongly suggest that tickets are ordered online as there is limited availability and may not be available on the day. Tickets are sold on a “first come, first served” basis on the day if availability allows due to cancellations etc.

Do adults have to pay?

Yes. Everyone visiting the Rathmore Christmas Kingdom needs to buy a ticket. Children MUST be accompanied. The Santa experience is magical for all ages, but we do not give out presents to adults, which is why the ticket price for over 13s is cheaper. We do give adults a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie and children over 12 get a threat.

Are group discounts available?

There are some group discounts available for schools and associations; please email us

Are the tickets refundable?

The tickets are non-refundable unless you let us know 72 hours before your booked slot that you will not be able to make it. And you have the cancellation insurance. This would allow us to sell on your booking. If you do want to be  refund, there will be a €5.00 charge to you.

What happens if it rains?

We operate in all weathers.  You are advised to wear warm and, if appropriate, waterproof clothing and footwear.

Can I take photographs?

We encourage photos to be taken around the Family Christmas Event, except inside Santa’s Log Cabin, where we have professional photography with many different ways to buy your family photo as you finish your journey.

Are dogs allowed?

No, only guide dogs are permitted in the Christmas area’s, Market and cafe.

What age is a child or adult?

  • Adult:  13 years old and above
  • Child: 1 years old to 13 years old
  • Toddler: Babies in arms not yet 1 year old
